Steve Graf

As an all-around outdoorsman and sports fanatic, Steve aka The Dink Master, has competed at the highest levels as a former two sport collegiate athlete at Northwestern State University. Steve was drafted by professional baseball's Montreal Expos and signed a free agent contract with the USFL's Houston Gamblers.These days Steve fishes the FLW and BASS pro circuits.  His success has earned him sponsorships with Ranger Boats, Daiwa Rods and Reels, Santone Lures, Gamakatsu Hooks, Vicious Fishing Line and SPRO Lures. Applying this experience with his own style and talent has earned Steve the knowledge that he enthusiastically shares with others through The Hook'N Up & Track'N Down radio show.

Capt. Peter Scafaru

Scafaru caught his first fish, a bluegill, at 4 years old on a worm with a cane pole in Ohio and that started his lifelong passion.  As a teenager he saw his brother dabbling with fly fishing, found it fascinating and started reading everything he could about it and casting in the pool.  As soon as he got a car he began taking trips every weekend to fish the wild creeks of northern and eastern Arizona and spent many summers as a trout bum fishing extensively in Arizona, Baja Mexico, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, California, Wyoming, Wisconsin, Monatana, Washington, Florida and Louisiana.  Peter recently moved to New Orleans to pursue jazz (he plays the saxophone and clarinet) and fly fishing.  Peter is an International Federation of Fly Fishers (IFFF) Certified Casting Instructor.  Having been a full-time music teacher for many years, he is a patient, knowledgeable and charismatic instructor of fly casting and fly fishing.

Dale Darling

Dale Darling started fly fishing in the late ‘70s after moving to Colorado.  While completing a doctorate in music composition, Dale tied thousands of flies for shops, and fished on local trout streams. In 1991, he opened the first of what became three fly fishing pro shops on the front range of Colorado. The shops specialized in teaching fly tying and fishing skills, and closed in 2006.

Dale continues to teach, and writes fly fishing Solution Books. published as digital editions that are available from River Fork Press and the Amazon Kindle Store.

Jeff Guerin

Jeff is a professional fly fishing guide since 1991, fly tier, custom rod builder, tennis pro, entrepreneur and musician is a life long resident of Shreveport.  Jeff began fly fishing the Little Missouri River, affectionately known as The Lil Mo', near Murfreesboro, Ark around 1970.  In 1989, he opened Clearwaters Rod & Fly Shop, the first fly fishing only shop in Louisiana.

Jeff's was actively involved in the implementation of Catch and Release areas on the Little Mo'.  This program was instrumental in the Weyerhaeuser Corporation's donation to the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission of the entire river's edge from the Hind's Bluff Access to the River Ridge development and beyond.  This area is now known as "The Skinny Water Project"..

Keith Richard

Keith Richard is the founder and owner of the Camp Fly Fishing School in Breaux Bridge Louisiana which is in its' eight year of operation.  He is a Lifetime member of the International Federation of Fly Fishers. He is a certified Master Casting Instructor by the IFFF and presently serves on its' Casting Board of Governors.  Mr.Richard has traveled extensively across the US conducting fly casting workshops.  For information regarding the school or private casting lessons, check out the website,

Dennis North
Dennis resides in East Texas, and has been fishing competitively since 1972. He has fished national, regional and local tournament circuits, including B.A.S.S., FLW, BFL, Fishers Of Men, Bass Champs and Crappie USA. Dennis has been fishing and guiding on Caddo and East Texas Lakes for more than 35 years. Dennis is also part of Outdoor Challenges and Challenged Outdoorsmen of America. Dennis also makes CrawClicker rattles and his own custom crappie jigs. Dennis will be giving a presentation on locating and successfully targeting crappie during spawning season.

Brandon Jennings
Brandon is from Winn Parish and is the founder of the Bayou State Crappie Assassins. A former bass tournament angler, he made the switch to crappie tournament fishing and has become one of the leading advocates for crappie fishing in Louisiana. He's a pro staff member of the Crappie Psychics lures, and a pro staff member for NuCanoe Kayaks. While boat fishing is still part of his routine, he admits to having more fun and even catching more fish from paddleboat, something he's done since a teenager. Regardless of what type of watercraft you fish from, Brandon knows that catching crappie sometimes requires "deep thinking".  His presentation on "Deepwater Crappie" will share tips and techniques for solving this dilemna.
